Heather Wagner, MSPM, SHRM-CP®, PHR®
Heather is a seasoned HR professional with over 30 years of experience across various industries, including work with Native Corporations and Tribal Organizations. She specializes in employee relations, compliance, recruitment and retention, and HR information systems. Before joining Alera ConnectHR in 2018, she held management roles at Hilcorp Alaska, CH2M Hill, General Communication Inc., and the Anchorage School District.
Heather focuses on helping small to medium-sized businesses establish efficient and compliant HR services that align with their business needs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a human resources concentration from Towson State University, a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage, and certifications as a Professional Human Resources (PHR®) and Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP®). Heather has lived in Alaska for over 30 years, providing her with deep regional insight.
