Kathy spent 15 years in information technology and other roles before she came to Wilson Albers in
2005—with no insurance background, she learned an entirely new industry and became experienced
through countless hours of training and studying. Today, she holds several distinguished designations:
Registered Health Underwriter (RHU®), Chartered Healthcare Consultant (ChHC®), and Registered
Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC®).

At Wilson Albers, Kathy specializes in serving groups of less than 20, as well as individuals seeking
coverage. She also leads a team that supports our preferred accounts, delivering exceptional service and
personalized care. It’s the part of her role she enjoys the most—helping people understand and utilize
their benefits.

The founder of an animal-rescue nonprofit in North Carolina, Kathy and her husband always have a
menagerie of animals at home. While they usually focus on rescuing neonatal kittens, other “guests”
have included dogs, rabbits, snakes, rats, and even a tarantula.
